Central Registration/Appointment Screener

Description:Responsible for entering accurate and complete demographic and insurance information into the Nextgen computer system and verifying insurance benefits as well as the collection of co-pay's. Screens daily appointment list of all physicians. Ensure that all patient information is current and up to date in the system.

Verifies insurance benefits and proper claims address. Verifies patient demographic information and updates accordingly.Issues receipt for monies collected. Reconciles monies at the end of the day for daily deposit.
Qualifications:High School diploma or GED.

Prior experience as a medical receptionist preferred. Minimum of one year of customer experience required. Computer experience also required.
